Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping at Sebodoria Ancestral. Each product is carefully handcrafted in small batches, but we understand that sometimes questions or exceptional situations may arise. On this page, we explain how returns and refunds work.
1. Returns period
For online purchases at sebodoria.pt, you have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order to exercise your right of return, in accordance with the legislation applicable to distance selling.
We only accept returns of products that are sealed, unused, and in perfect condition, for hygiene and safety reasons.
2. Conditions for returned products
For a return to be accepted, the product must:
- unused, with no signs of use
- Keep the original packaging, complete and in good condition.
- have the hygiene seal or protection intact (when applicable)
- must be accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or confirmation email)
Products that have been opened, used, or have a broken hygiene seal cannot be returned, except in cases of proven defects.
3. Defective or damaged products
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us by email at hello@sebodoria.pt within 7 days of receipt, indicating the order number and attaching clear photographs of the problem.
In these situations, after analysis, we can:
- replace the product with an identical one; or
- Issue a full refund of the amount paid for the product, including shipping, where applicable.
4. Items not covered
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of:
- personal care and cosmetic products that have been opened or used
- gift cards or gift vouchers
5. Return shipping costs
In cases of returns due to buyer's remorse or exchanges at the customer's request, the return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
In cases of defective products or errors on the part of Sebodoria Ancestral, we will cover the return and/or reshipping costs after validating the situation.

We recommend using registered mail or another method with proof of shipment, as we cannot guarantee receipt of packages returned without registration.
6. Refund Processing
Once the return is received and verified, we will send you an email confirming receipt and approving or rejecting the refund.
If the refund is approved, it will be processed to the same payment method used for the purchase. The actual processing time depends on the card issuer or card processing company and may take a few business days.
