Description

This artisanal face balm combines Azorean grass-fed tallow with macerated orange blossom flowers, macerated vanilla pods, organic jojoba oil, and Azorean beeswax, resulting in a nourishing, balanced formulation suitable for different skin types. Although formulated for facial use, it may also be applied to the body, particularly on areas that benefit from regeneration, elasticity, and skin protection.

Just a little goes a long way: a small amount is enough to do its job, allowing the product to last a long time. Shelf life is 6 months after opening.

Tallow presents a lipid structure naturally biocompatible with human skin, contributing to the reinforcement of the skin barrier and the maintenance of physiological hydration.Scientific literature describes its ability to reduce transepidermal water loss and promote skin comfort, even in sensitive or reactive skin (Russell et al., 2024; Kowalska et al., 2017).

Orange blossom is widely valued in cosmetic formulations due to its richness in bioactive compounds such as polyphenols, flavonoids, and terpenes, which confer antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin-regenerating properties. Studies indicate that orange blossom extracts may stimulate fibroblast activity, promoting collagen synthesis and other components of the extracellular matrix, with a positive impact on skin elasticity, firmness, and overall appearance. Additionally, orange blossom has been shown to contribute to skin tone uniformity through the inhibition of tyrosinase activity (Miastkowska & Sikora, 2018; Seyyedi-Mansour et al., 2025).

Vanilla is used at low concentration as an antioxidant and soothing co-adjuvant, contributing to skin comfort and a naturally delicate aroma, without the use of artificial fragrances. Organic jojoba oil was selected due to its structural similarity to human sebum, presenting non-comedogenic properties and low occlusivity, allowing it to hydrate and balance the skin without clogging pores. Beeswax completes the formulation by forming a natural protective barrier that seals in moisture and protects the skin from external aggressors.

Ingredients: Tallow (Grass-fed Azorean Beef Tallow), Citrus aurantium (Orange Blossom), Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla), Simmondsia chinensis Seed Oil (Organic Jojoba Oil), Cera Alba (Beeswax).

Directions for Use: Apply a small amount to slightly damp skin and massage gently until absorbed. The balm forms a protective layer that helps seal in the moisture the skin requires. Suitable for daily facial use and, if desired, for body application. Store in a cool, dry place.

Precautions: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Note: As this is an artisanal product, natural variations between batches may occur.
