Grass-fed Tallow & Rosemary Body Balm

This body balm combines macerated rosemary with Azorean grass-fed beef tallow, creating a daily care product that protects, revitalises and stimulates the skin. Although formulated for body use, this balm may also be applied to the face, provided that the facial skin tolerates olive oil well.

Just a little goes a long way: a small amount is enough to do its job, allowing the product to last a long time. Shelf life is 6 months after opening.

Rosemary is widely described in the scientific literature for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to protect the skin against oxidative stress associated with solar and environmental exposure, while also reducing signs of cutaneous fatigue (Li Pomi et al., 2023; Macedo et al., 2020). In addition, rosemary exhibits a stimulating effect on microcirculation and has traditionally been used to tone tired skin and promote a sensation of vitality after application (González-Minero et al., 2020; Dhariwala & Ravikumar, 2019).

Azorean grass-fed tallow provides skin-compatible lipids similar to those naturally present in human skin, supporting moisture retention and cutaneous comfort, while extra virgin olive oil and Azorean beeswax reinforce the skin barrier and protect against dehydration.

Ingredients:  Tallow (Azorean Grass-Fed Beef Tallow), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary), Olea Europaea Fruit Oil (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), Cera Alba (Beeswax).

Directions for Use:  With the skin still slightly damp, apply a small amount and gently massage until fully absorbed. Store in a cool, dry place.

Precautions:  For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Application at night is not recommended due to the stimulating effect of rosemary.
